A00085 - Happy Feelin's with the Soul Bird

 

On Friday evening, as is my custom, I was in my garden harvesting some strawberries.  As usual, I began my meditative garden practice with Maze's "Golden Time of Day".  I usually follow it with Maze's "Happy Feelin's" but on this Friday, I played Maze's "We Are One" next.  Only after playing "We Are One" did I play Maze's "Happy Feelin's"

Just as Frankie Beverly began with the words "happy feelins in the air", a bird came and sat on my fence.  It began to bob and to chirp as though it were singing along with Frankie. It was a remarkable performance.  So amazed was I that after the song was done, I started playing the song all over again.  The bird stayed until three outside birds of different species came and settled in my neighbor's tree as though they wanted to see what all the chirping was about.  The interference of these outsider birds disrupted my bonding with my soul bird and it abruptly flew away.

Wherever you are and whatever you may do, I wish you all could have your own moment with the soul bird and that, if you do, that you two can share Happy Feelin's
